PRAXIS'
Engagement Standards
PRAXIS Northwest,
LLC is a management and information technology consultancy
with offices in Olympia, Washington. PRAXIS specializes in
defining business-driven technology strategies, business requirements,
and defining and facilitating business re-engineering opportunities
for government agencies and businesses.
Building a solid relationship with executive management, the
project team, and other members of our clients' management and
staff are key critical success factors. PRAXIS recognizes the
importance of these relationships to the success of every project
and has developed the following set of engagement standards which
guide our interaction with each client:
- Engage in open
and honest communication at all times.
- Define and deliver
measurable results in an environment of integrity, ethics
and trust.
- Technology is
used as a tool to support improved customer relations, more
effective work flow among staff, and business re-engineering
opportunities, rather than being a goal in its own right.
- Remain fully
accountable for commitments entered into during a project,
and meet those commitments 100% of the time. As circumstances
change, re-negotiate commitments in a way that preserves
the integrity of other stakeholders.
- Start each project
with a project charter which includes a clear definition
of roles, responsibilities, and commitments among all parties
involved, and the management and communication strategy to
be implemented for the project.
- Fully involve
all stakeholders and customers, at the appropriate level,
in designing and developing new business and technology solutions.
Results are
"owned" by the customer's business community, not
by PRAXIS.
- All information
shared by or developed for the customer is confidential,
and can only be shared with others with the written consent
of the customer.
- All projects
include a "technology transfer"
component that provides for the products and/or skills to be
transferred to the customer organization before the completion
of the project.
- Final project
evaluation meeting with customer manager and key team members.
- Identify key
decision points within each project, and that each project
results in recommendations for
"next steps" and identifies appropriate resources
and commitments required to move the client organization forward.
